With a chrysanthemum, maple and peony design, marked ‘Imaemon’ on base, contained in a wooden box with inscription and seal ‘Imaizumi Toen’

Produced by the Imaezumi Imaemon studio in 1980. The studio was run by the 13th generation Imaemon Imaezumi (1926-2001) who succeeded to his position in 1975 and was made a Living National Treasure in 1989. This is a design that was popular in the Edo period.
